Vehicle Detail

This is a NO RESERVE auction, Please do not bid unless you plan to follow through and purchase the car. This car needs extensive work, (full restoration!) The time has come to sell my 1972 Challenger rallye. This car is originally a 340/4spd car. The original engine is long gone, However it did come with a 383 installed. The engine cranked over, But the starter went dead and I stripped the car right after that. The original numbers matching 4spd trans is still here, However. The vin number, trans number, dash number, rad support number, fender tag number ALL match. I purchased this car as a complete car, Needing complete restoration. I stripped the car to nothing, But now I do not have any time to restore the car. This car is completly stripped, And in pieces. I have every piece of this car but it's just all apart now. When I purchased this car, The seller purchased it from his Fedex man, Who purchased it from an older women. Her husband passed away and all the cars were transfered to her name. She then sold them all (this being one of them). During the next two sales, The title got miss-placed. I still do not have a title, However I had a notary send the original owner (the woman), All of the lost title paperwork! We're hoping to get a duplicate title soon. The notary made sure these stories were true and accurate, And ran the lisence plate number/vin and it came back to the woman, Just as stated. I have her information, the persons information she sold it too, And the person he sold it to (that I purchased it from). I have contacted ALL of them before stripping this car, To make sure if I did restore it, I can get a title. So, This car is being currently WITHOUT a title, HOWEVER a title should easily be able to be attained as I'll give you the original owners information (Unless the duplicate title gets back in the mean time). I'm very sorry for this long story, But I felt it should all be explained so people don't think there could never be a title attained. I have a bill of sale from when I purchased the car for $6,100 aswell ! THIS CAR HAS BEEN OFF THE ROAD SINCE THE LATE 80'S. Registration sticker on original lisence plate confirms this! It has been sitting for almost 25 years. With all of that out of the way: This car needs a COMPLETE restoration. I stripped every single part from the car. * all the glass is good! All the interior plastics are good. Dash has crack through the top. All gauges are there, And clear to see. All lights on this car worked before I stripped it*, All the parts from this car are in the corner of my garage. This was a COMPLETE car when I got it! If you cannot complete a full restoration or afford to pay someone to do one, This car is NOT for you. The fenders have rot , Aswell as the drivers side floor board. It looks as though someone tried to patch it in the 80's. I have two extra good doors for this car, Along with the ones on it (rust bubbling started in front lower corners). The frame rails on this car are in good condition. To make this extremly easy, This car NEEDS A COMPLETE RESTORATION !!!!!!!!!! I am giving every single part that came off the car, With the car. I do not want any of it left ! I have no problem shipping this car (you pay for shipping and you arrange it, But it may be tough as it's un-rolling right now. Not sure how that would work ! Not all is pictured, But included. Fender tag picture is listed so you can decode it on a free decoder site. I DO NOT have the factory fuel lines/brake liens. I threw them away as I planned to purchase all new ones (cheap online). Thank you for viewing, And please do not bid if you have no plan to follow through. I can easily end this auction early to sell to someone not wanting to wait, If need be.
