TOYOTA TRUCK 22RTE Up for bid is my 1986 Toyota truck. This is a great truck, all original, never messed with. 79,172 original easy driving miles. My wife and I bought this truck from a friend who was given the truck by his grandmother. It was grandpa's gone fishing truck. It was well kept for its whole life, and not driven hard. I'm only selling because I need to. - There is a hole in the muffler and an issue with turbo charger in the truck, its not working and there is a lack of power. I'm not sure if this is the waste gate, the sensor or a leak, I do not have the tools to test it properly. If your not familiar with this truck the turbo is a hard part to get unless you want to use an aftermarket turbo. If you are familiar with this truck I'm sure your drooling, even with the turbo issue! Outside of that, the truck runs excellent. The engine is superb, transmission, drive train, transfer case and everything mechanical is working great. All the power locks and windows work, lights work, heat works great, 4x4 works great too. The breaks are good and there is decent rubber on the truck. - The chassis is rust free. - The body of the truck is in great condition for its age, there are a few dings, some small dents and few small spots of rust. There are scratches, some rubbing on the drivers door and as you can see the paint is faded. - The interior is also in very good condition, the arm rest is peeling, there are stains in the carpet and a little on the door, a small tear in the drivers seat. - This truck has all the bells and whistles that were available when it was new. - power windows, locks - cruise control - am/fm stereo w/ tape deck (volume control knob missing) - AC - not working, the compressor has been bypassed from the drive belt, it was this way when I got it - sunroof - running boards - fog lights - Brahma camper shell - tow package - I put a new valve cover gasket in the truck, but have not done any other work to it. - New Battery Well there you have it folks. This is really a good and desirable truck in truly great condition. It's the perfect truck for a crawler or baja project, or just a great truck to fix up and drive. The truck is currently not registered. You will have to pick this truck up or arrange shipment, I have no way to get this truck to you. It will drive away, but does lack power because of the turbo issue, and I wouldn't recommended driving it too far considering it is not registered. A deposit of $500.00 must be made at the close of the auction through pay-pal. The truck must be removed with-in a week after the end of auction, or other arrangements made. If the winning bidder fails to meet these requirements the truck will be re-listed and the deposit, if made, will be forfeit.
