First let me say I have 100% positive feedback and intend to keep it. I am accurately representing the condition of this car. I welcome & encourage you to come take it for a test drive. I also welcome & encourage your mechanic to come take a look at it! If you have questions about this car call me at 702-343-4902. This is a gorgeous 1984 Pontiac Firebird with a rare 5-speed manual. This is the V6 model (great on gas). I get a lot of comments about this car. Kids love the headlights. People call me David Hasselhoff or Mr. Knight! Body is solid - straight as an arrow. These cars were built like tanks. Car spent it’s whole life in pacific southwest - no moisture issues, water, ice, snow, rock salt or rust to worry about! Body is solid! There are a few small scratches on the new paint near the driver door due to a car wash. Door windows 30% black tint / rear window 50% black tint (this is good as no one can see items in your trunk). Interior: Talk about gorgeous! Brand new leather 2-tone seats, new carpet, new sun visors, and new headliner! The pics don’t do it justice. Nicer than when it came off the assembly line. You can eat off the floor or seats this car is so clean! Dealers charge $4,000 for this type of work nowadays. Smells like a new car. Interior molding does have normal wear – molding by doors and center console has scuff marks from feet hitting it for 30 years. Storage door on center console is off hinges. Nothing major. Mechanics: Car runs perfect! Driven all the time and 400 miles through the desert to California several times. No problems at all! Engine temp didn’t budge 1 milimeter past normal driving 5 hours with outside temp of 120 degrees in Death Valley. Car doesn’t leak so much as one drop of oil or water. Starts right up. Engine and clutch smooth as butter. Car never driven hard, never spun tires, never faster than 65mph. Pop Up Headlights: Work perfect! A huge problem with these old Pontiacs is failure of the headlight motors that pop the lights up. These work perfect and I cleaned them up! Also new headlight bulbs installed! Aimed perfectly! Replaced Items: New brakes (pads, rotors fixed up, park brake fixed up) New battery (Interstate brand – top quality) New water pump Exterior marker lights all replaced with LEDs. New turn signal housings & orange bulbs New headlights (bright and aimed perfectly) New dome light housing and LED bulb New gauge cluster circuit board All gauge illumination lights and warning lights replaced with LEDs New brake pedal New clutch pedal New turn signal lever All fuses replaced Turn signal relay flasher replaced (loud ‘clicker’) New windshield wipers New washer fluid pumpRadio replaced with aftermarket - CD player CARBURATOR NOTICE: This car is pre-1986 and has a carburator NOT a fuel injector. For you youngsters out there that means you cannot simply turn the key and instantly start it. You must pump the gas pedal a few times then hold the key to start then let the engine warm up. This is how cars with carburators are! Shipping: I will be more than willing to work with transport companies. Car ship anywhere!!! REPAIRS NEEDED 1. Weather stripping along doors and plastic weather molding behind mirrors on doors should be replaced. They are dry rotted after 30 years of sun and wind can be heard. No water leak though. 2. The a/c has been upgraded from R-12 to modern freon however the compressor used was cheap and leaks freon. A new compressor will be needed (approx $500 part & labor). 3.
