1938 Mercedes 170V 4-Door Sedan   Offered is a rather uncommon Mercedes purchased by my Dad shortly before he passed. From what I understand, all prewar Mercedes are getting hard to find, and this is a good solid car. I have little history on the vehicle other than the fact that my Dad bought it here on ebay, and had it shipped from Georgia. The reserve is exactly what he paid for it and everything that came with the car is included. The title is clear and is included in the sale. It appears that this is a solid and rust free example. It is rather complete and straight with no signs of accident damage. All sheet metal appears original and there are no signs of accident or rust repair. My belief is that the car ran before my Dad bought it and the motor turns over by hand and is not stuck. The paint is an original color scheme for this model Mercedes and was probably painted within the last 30 years. It's obvious that this car has been in dry storage for the majority of it's life. Overall the wood seems to be in good shape with little deterioration in the passenger side front door. All doors shut smoothly and are in working order. The interior is overall complete and the grill is very straight.
