We just purchased this truck from a local 80 year old collector who has owned this pickup for 20+ years. He told us several times that the truck had 80,765 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since brand new but we have no way of proving it. Just look at this thing though !! He had a frame up restoration done several years ago removing everything from the frame except the cab which he told us just didn't need to be removed as it looked GREAT ! This is a NICE - SOLID - DRY - ALL STEEL - Idaho high mountain desert - Western truck that runs and drives VERY WELL ! It is sound and in GREAT shape. It has what appears to be its - ORIGINAL - 217 CID Straight 6 cylinder motor in it and running very well. The engine was completly professionaly rebuilt down to the bare block by the previous owner and has only had less than 1000 miles put on it since then. The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - Four Speed manual transmission that also functions very well. This pickup still retains its - ORIGINAL - Dodge - drivers side door jam mounted data plate shown in a picture below. The two tone Saddle Brown and Dark Brown Interior is in VERY NICE condition with a VERY NICE Saddle Brown vinyl bench seat, VERY NICE Dark Brown Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE Dark Brown Vinyl headliner, VERY NICE Saddle Brown vinyl sunvisors, NICE Original style black rubber floor mat, GOOD - ORIGINAL - steering wheel and NICE Original gauge clusters. WOW ! This '47 Dodge WC 1/2 Ton Pickup is too cool ! If you have been thinking of restoring a truck, you know what it costs to do a restoration like this not to mention the hundreds of hours involved ! Careful to not let this one get away ! Bright Red with Black fenders and running boards has got to be the very best color combination for this model Dodge pickup, TO COOL !! We just purchased this truck from a local 80 year old collector who has owned this pickup for 20+ years. This 1947 Dodge WC Half Ton Pickup is a definite eye catcher. It is sound and in GREAT shape. It has what appears to be its - ORIGINAL - 217 CID Straight 6 cylinder motor in it and running very well. The engine was completly professionaly rebuilt down to the bare block by the previous owner and has only had less than 1000 miles put on it since then. The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - Four Speed manual transmission that also functions very well. This pickup still retains its - ORIGINAL - Dodge - drivers side door jam mounted data plate shown in a picture below. The two tone Saddle Brown and Dark Brown Interior is in VERY NICE condition with a VERY NICE Saddle Brown vinyl bench seat, VERY NICE Dark Brown Vinyl door panels, VERY NICE Dark Brown Vinyl headliner, VERY NICE Saddle Brown vinyl sunvisors, NICE Original style black rubber floor mat, GOOD - ORIGINAL - steering wheel and NICE Original gauge clusters. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. We prefere a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment as this is the safest for you and for us. We do not accept any paypal payments. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of the auction ending. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback or excessive bid cancellations. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale.
