Stunning 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Sedan Only 84,600 miles! Up for bids is my beloved 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Sedan in Obsidian Black Pearl, with just over 84,000 miles. Just to let you know I am an ex Subaru mechanic who worked at our local Subaru Dealer and I quit only to go back to college and finish my degree. I have taken exceptional care of this car! This car has been pampered and all of the "common plagues” of this model (i.e. the turbo oil supply banjo bolt problems) have been addressed and taken care of. The car runs 100% and has always had Castrol Synthetic oil run in it and changed every 3k no exceptions. All of the maintenance is up to date and it needs absolutely nothing. It is Pennsylvania State safety and emissions inspected until June of 2013. It is the 2.5 GT model with the dual overhead cam 2.5 turbo that runs perfect, absolutely no leaks or noises. This car has 250 horsepower and is very quick. The turbo spools up and it will literally push you back in your seat, its very powerful and in my opinion one of the best sports sedans Subaru has ever made. It has the automatic 5 speed All wheel drive transmission that shifts smooth and has zero issues. There are paddle shifters on the steering wheel if you want to drive it in sport mode. I have NEVER raced or tracked this car it has been a weekend cruiser for me and it is 100% stock with the exception of the cold air intake and the Borla exhaust and carbon fiber grill. It has Borla mufflers on it and they sound amazing. (actually quite quiet maybe 20% louder than the stock mufflers) They are the Borla Hush mufflers so they are not loud and annoying like the other “sports” exhausts some people put on their car. It also has brand new Cooper tires all the way around, the front brakes were just recently done and the rear wheel bearings were done at Subaru per the 100,000 mile extended coverage that was applied to them. Just had a coolant flush and tune up/service at 80k miles as well. Runs perfect and gets pretty good mileage, I’ve always used premium 93 octane gas in it. The black paint and body are a solid 9 out of 10 it shines amazingly well and the Pearl metallics in the paint looks beautiful when the sun hits it. There is one small bubble behind the rear door maybe the size of a nickel that’s it and hardly noticeable. It is in great shape on the inside as well. The interior is very clean, no rips or tears or stains. It has all options except moonroof and leather. The heated seats work great and it has the auto dimming rear view mirror/compass which comes in handy at night. Some other options include dual zone climate control, heated mirrors and windshield (cold weather package) power mirrors, locks, windows, 6 disc cd changer etc. It also has an auxiliary input so you can hook your Ipod or smart phone up to listen to Pandora or whatnot. The front bumper just had some dirt on it in the photo, paint is in great shape...sorry about the pictures snow is melting here and its hard to keep a vehicle clean, ugh winter! This car is AMAZING in the snow though. Ill be happy to send you more pics at your request if needed. I am only selling it because I am moving from Pittsburgh area back up north to my hometown and don’t have the room to keep it at my new place, I have 4 vehicles and this one has to go. The car is still located in Pittsburgh at my home and I would be happy to meet you at the airport if you decide to fly in and drive the car back to your home.
