• Just completed multiple services on this Benz and installed over $1,000 in parts not including labor cost! Mechanically in good condition!
• Clean CARFAX!
• The 3.0L, 6-Cylinder, turbo-diesel engine runs good and has very good acceleration!
• Fires right up and travels down the road very nicely! The doors shut with a solid thud and this automatic transmission car drives good (has the normal semi-abrupt shifts between gears, but no slippage at all)!
• This 300SDL will be sold to VA residents with a NEW VA STATE INSPECTION, but will be sold to out-of-state residents with the current (2/13) inspection sticker. It will pass State with no problem!
• Our classic Benz expert just completed loads of maintenance an this car and serviced or installed: New tires, transmission mount, transmission case bearing, motor mount, expansion tank, battery, ball joint, diesel pump seal, seal ring, window slide, oil filter, transmission filter, transmission pan gasket, transmission fluid, transformer, oil change service, wiper blades, antenna seal, brake flush, fuel injector seals, and more!
• This classic Benz hardly has any oil leaks and is mechanically very sound! The engine does smoke a little, but not bad at all. The A/C works good and the A/C head unit/blower works too!
• The body is solid with only surface rust on some paint chip spots. The only rust spot that needs attention now is on the left rear door between the side glass windows (see pic below).
• The paint is a little dull on most body panels and it has some pinstriping missing in spots, but looks decent overall. There are multiple tiny to small paint chips here and there and multiple light scratches. The gray lower-body paint is worn in spots (especially on the bumpers). The body itself is straight with hardly and dings! The windshield has a 2" diameter half-moon crack on the far left side, but it doesn't interfer with driver visibility and will pass State Inspection in VA.
• This car has the original Mercedes Light Yellow Exterior Paint Color w/Dark Brown Interior.
• The interior looks decent all over with the only blemishes being: Some cracks in the dash pad, a rip in the vinyl on the driver's door panel, some rips in the passenger front seat (bottom cushion), rips and tears in the upper middle of the rear seat (see pics below), some cracked wood trim around the shifter, and ripped vinyl on both "B" pillars.
• Known mechanical/electrical issues are: The radio doesn't work, the power antenna doesn't work, the sunroof doesn't work, and the locks won't work from the driver's key hole (locks do work though).
