My father (second owner) bought the car in 1981 from Hopewell Motor Imports in Hopewell, NJ. He owned the car until 2005. The car was garage queen and occasional show car. When I took over ownership in 2005, my goal was to make the car a dependable daily driver and fun track car. Over the years, I have made the transition with this car successfully. With a nod to the factory rally cars, this car is equipped to drive daily, which I do 60 miles a day and also to go on weekend rallyes or auto crossing.
