Vehicle Detail
If you’re looking for a turn-key trail rig, this is it!!! The Legendary Toyota FJ60 LandCruiser. This FJ60 is the one you want. With only 119,000 original miles, It’s hard to find a FJ60 nowadays with less than 250,000 on it! I bought this rig from a real nice trail guy out in Glenwood Springs Colorado. My Son and I hitched a ride out and drove it all the way back to Missouri without a single problem, other than people wanting to look at it all the time. This is one great rig, I hate to sell it, but I have some other things coming up and I will not be able to use it, so “FJ” has to go. I have put 6,000 miles on it since I bought it with no problems or troubles whatsoever. It’s a Late 1985 with the original Engine, 4-speed, and transfer case. The Front end has been professionally rebuilt, knuckles and all, with all new bearings and seals from Martin Crawler and Cruiser Outfitters last summer. While I was at it, I found a FJ62 donor out in Wyoming with less than 100,000 miles on it and bought the 4:11 differentials to replace the 3:72s. This immediately gave me a gas mileage gain. This rig averages 16.2 MPG as tracked on Fuelly.com. The transmission and transfer case shift easy and solid. The AC Blows cold, Heater nice and hot. The rear heat works great also. The engine has never failed to start in any weather from 0 to 110 degrees. It has a great idle and lots of power for what 2F 4.2L inline 6-cylinder is. It’s not a speed demon, but it’s got a lot of grunt and torque. I typically cruise a t 65 MPH and have never ran it hard. It’s never been in the mud since I’ve owned it. I can park it on the concrete and it does not drip. This FJ has been to MOAB a couple times I know. But the previous owner was very easy on it and I have found nothing wrong with this FJ. It is VERY easy and smooth driving down the road, no wobble or weaving. And you get hundreds of gawkers and thumbs up. The interior is pretty darn nice. It still retains the original seats, headliner, and carpet. I have put on some Cabelas Trail Gear seat covers to further protect the seats. Here’s a detailed rundown of what this FJ60 has, and goes with the sale. ALSO INCLUDED WITH THE SALE, AND GOING WITH THE WINNER is a complete set of repair panels, rockers, door bottoms, Dogleg, Rear fenders, and left front fender. I had these cut from a rust free FJ60 last year. Also going with the deal is a good amount of nice to have parts and spares. I still have all of the receipts from the prior owner too. Once you add up all of the extra’s and accessories, you are getting one heck of a deal. For the price of a 4-wheeler ATV, you can have this ready for the road or trail FJ60 Toyota Landcruiser. A real head turner. This is the 3rd vehicle I have sold on Ebay. The last two were early 70's Ford Bronco's that went for over $17,000 EACH. The buyers were well pleased and I received very positive feedback. Bid with confindence!
