Buying a car on E- Bay may seem like a daunting experience- and is ! I will discribe this Corvette in detail and as honestly as possible. You can also be assured of my reputation by reviewing my 100% excellent feedback on more than 250 items. Beautiful numbers matching low production 1970 Corvette - 350 / 300 H.P. convertable. Production #'s were 6648 and much fewer if you take into account the 4 speed and burgundy color. The car has been kept in a climate controlled environment and received regular servicing- since my ownership it has never been in the rain! The guages, lights ,radio, and electric antenna and wipers all work as they should - the clock does NOT work. Exterior : Paint is excellent. No orange peel or fish eye-looks great. The pictures should speak for themselves. Very small scratch above the passenger side front tire-so minor that it does not show in the pictures. One of the T's is missing from Corvet-e on the back I have ordered this and will send it to you when I get it. Two small marks behind the seats where the seats have rubbed against the convertable top cover-- cannot see them when the seats are in the driving position.The convertable top is in good shape ( black ). There are no rust issues- underside is excellent. Interior- Within the last 3 years the car has had new carpeting installed , new interior trim. new center console and a modern radio- looks similar to the original. I have not redone the door panels which have some ragged edges along the bottom door sills- Unfortunantly I have noticed a small crack developing on the dash it is currently about an inch long . Mechanical: excellent shape. Motor runs great, excellent oil pressure and runs cool. Pulls strong . The brakes and transmission have been completely and professionally redone within the last 3 years- shifts like butter and stops straight and great.
