Reluctantly I am putting my non-a/c 70 Chevelle 2 door Malibu up for sale. I am the second owner with a clean PA title in my name that must be transfered before the car leaves my driveway. This a unmolested 70 Chevelle that is all original right down to the worn out ball joints to am/fm radio. Body tag shows this as being a factory Cranberry Red car with NO vinyl top. The odometer shows 16344 and I can only assume it is 116,344 but cant verify for certain. It has it's born with 6cyl engine, 2 speed powerglide transmission, and 10 bolt open rear. The car runs, drives, and stops good but could stand a tune up. It has power steering and manual drums but comes with disc brake spindles from a 69 Chevelle. All lights, wipers, cig lighter, and even the door buzzer work just as they should. The frame is very solid with no issues that I have seen. The floor pans are also very solid but the car could use trunk pan work, but I've seen alot worse. The body is all original and it shows, but I believe it to be very workable and in good shape for being 42 years old. The fenders have some dings / dents (probably from being sold and living in Philly it's whole life), and the typical rust at the bottoms. Passenger side fender probably is not salvagable. The doors open and close good but have some rust and dent issues. The 1/4's also have the typical rust and some dings / dents. I put a good used trunk lid on from a 72 Chevelle as well as an original steel Cowl Induction (SS) hood from a 71 Chevelle. All glass in the car is good and windows go up and down as they should. The interior has been redone and is in great shape with the exception of a tear in the (69 Chevelle) front bench seat that is in it. Has mint original dash pad that I found sitting in a barn for 25 years. Car has new dash vents, refoamed & recovered back seat, new carpet, new ear muff panels, and rear package tray. With the exception of alot of little replaced parts (window cranks, cig lighter, visor supports, dome light & base, etc), everything else is original to the car and in great shape, but not 100% flawless.... Which is the way I wanted to keep it. I even have 98% of the original build sheet that was found under the rear seat. The car is located here with me 15 minutes from the Philly airport. It is an original GM base SS domed hood from a 71 SS Chevelle. I still refer to the hood as being a Cowl Induction but others may not. This car (70 Chevelle listed) is obviously NOT a Super Sport and I am not representing as one. Thanks to Jim for the suggestion to make that clear.
