This auction is for a 1994 Honda CB 1000. The title is clear. This bike has 55K miles on it but starts and runs good. I rode it back and forth to school almost every day through November. It gets over 40 mpg. I don't know much about the bike history, I have only had it about a year. It was laid down before I got it and has some serious scratches and dings. It has been laid down (see the pictures) and has some scrapes. The tank looks to have been painted with a color-shifting paint that is actually kind of cool looking. It is purple but has different characteristics when viewed from different angles or in the sun. The RPM gauge needle has been broken about half way down, but the guage still runs and you can still tell how many RPM's you are getting. I had it tuned up in the summer, and I watched the mechanic take it down the street on one wheel for about half a block... I know it is fast, and it is a very powerful machine. I am short, and this bike is too tall for me. It is also heavy. It has a slight chatter in first gear when you first take off that it has had since I got it, and I have had the battery run down on me twice because I left the key on and the headlight was on while I was in class. It has a couple of small tears on the seat (see picture) and the grab handles on the rear are rusty...all in all though, with a little TLC this could be a really great machine for somebody.
