Up for auction is a one owner 2004 Mercedes Benz C240 4matic with 161401 miles. Although the factory name for the color is Desert Silver it is actually gold, with a tan interior. It has heated front seats, sunroof, cruise control, all wheel drive, traction control, antilock brakes, fog lights, power windows and locks, automatic headlights, automatic wipers, dimming rear view and drivers side mirror, retractable rear window shade, tow alarm, remote flip down rear head rests, and stereo with weather bands, cassette, & cd. The car has been dealer serviced since day one.The condition if the vehicle is very good for the mileage. The car has some very minor dings, scrapes, and scratches. The worst is probably over the driver's side rear wheel arch but it is very minor and not very noticeable. The front and rear bumper covers have a few scratches and paint blemishes from being bumped into in parking lots.Mechanically the car drives very well and is very solid. It does have an occasional rough idle that the dealer hasn't been able to trace but it goes away on its own. One issue the vehicle has is that the A/C & heat wont blow through the main vents on the dash. It works fine though the windshield or floor facing vents so we never bothered to have it looked at. The other issues I'm aware of are that the door covering the driver's side visor mirror fell off and the CD player functionality may be a little sketchy. Otherwise the interior is in extremely great shape. It also has the rubber all weather floor mats front & rear, the original carpet mats will be included. I'll also include a Kinovo bluetooth FM transmitter so you can play a smartphone or ipod through the stereo or to use as a speakerphone.The car has PA inspection and registration through the end of November, since it is for sale we aren't going to bother with getting it inspected again, but it has been reregistered. Some more info: All four tires replaced 7/18/2011 (continentals) @140K (only 20K on them)Front brakes and rotors replaced 7/11/2011 @140KRear brakes and rotors replaced 12/1/2011 @147KRear brake hoses replaced 3/10/2012 Prop shaft and a sensor (Oxygen I think) replaced last August, as well as the rear passenger side axle (boot was ripped).Crank sensor earlier in the year.I think the transmission computer was replaced a year or two ago. This is my wife's car so I don't remember all the details but car was always serviced at the required intervals by Mercedes. I was driving it from outside of Philly to Baltimore (240 mile round trip) on the weekends until I had listed it on ebay.
