For Sale is a 1965 Mustang Coupe in drivable condition. I purchased this car not running. The motor (early 1970's 302) has been gone through and replaced the oil, filter, plugs, wires, coil, dist cap, valve covers, oil pan, air breather, radiator, belt, hoses, and is now running reliably. Front fenders, rock guard, front valance, and outer shock towers have been replaced on the front end. Installed a good used complete door on passenger side with good operating glass. All sheet metal was purchased from CJPony Parts. These have already been installed. I have purchased brand new BUT NOT INSTALLED Rear quarters, Floor Pans, Toe Kicks, Front and Rear Bumpers with bolts, Walnut Steering Wheel, Black Carpet Kit, Carpet, Underlayment, Chrome Drip Gutter Trim. Exterior Door Handles, Front parking lights with new amber lenses, and maybe a few other small things. All of these parts were purchased from CJPony parts new. These parts are not installed. They do go with the car. Floor pans are not to bad, maybe a 8"x16" drooping section on passenger and driver side. They are not holes all the way through, just some sagging. Rear floor pans are solid The rear quarters have some bondo above each wheel well so I purchased new quarters in case they needed to be replaced. Otherwise the car is solid. Car is in driveable condition and is currently put together as seen in pictures. C4 trans shifts out good but it takes a minute or two when car is cold to engage in drive. Reverse engages immediately. The car set for twelve years before I purchased it and I think when driven routinely and maybe some lucas added the hesitation may go away. Once the trans is warm it operates good. Overall a very solid project with alot of new parts already purchased. You can drive this car home locally but should ship it if it is over 30 or fourty miles. Who knows it may make a 300 mile trip but no guarantees. Thank You for looking.
