Up for auction is my 1980 BMW R100 RT. She's a perfect Winter project that will give you lots of love next Spring. I've ridden it for the past three riding seasons and have loved every minute! She's taken me all over the Midwest as far as Nebraska and up and around Lake Michigan via the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is really one of those classic bikes that always turns heads flying down the road. Here's your chance to own one of these old timers before they really start to disappear. I've used this bike to do some relaxed touring and camping and a little urban riding. Since I've owned her she's been configured a couple different ways. She was purchased stripped down as shown in one photo below. I added the cases and a small windscreen to do some touring, and then eventually added the existing RT fairing pieces and a larger windscreen for some greater protection from the wind and cold. Right now the bike has the RT fairing installed.
