This vehicle was traded in on a new car and is in NEED OF ENGINE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. This vehicle had just been into a Dodge dealer for a routine service and for whatever reason a short time later the engine stop running and suffered serious lower end (rod) damage. From what we can see this vehicle will need at least a new short block or engine. It will still fire however we have not attempted to let it run. With all of this being said at appears according to Carfax that this Durango has had and excellent service history up until the time the engine quit running. For a 2004 vehicle it looks good inside and out and appears to have been well cared for. The body is strait and the paint still has a nice finish. The interior is a NON-SMOKER and shows little wear( complete and more detailed description below ). This Durango will make a great candidate for and engine transplant because it is in such good condition. If you have the mechanical ability of a friend that does this could make someone and inexpensive THIRD ROW SUV or a nice profit. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Overall good condition. The only flaws we could see with the body are a light crease on the left rear door, scuffs on the right side of the front bumper, and a very light dent on the left front fender. It is an 8 year old vehicle so there maybe a few light scratches or chips in the paint however overall the body is in good condition. INTERIOR: Good. The interior is clean and shows very little wear. The only cometic issue we could see with the interior is the bezel around the bottom of the drivers seat is broken. Other than needing a light cleaning the interior is in good condition. DRIVE TRAIN: The motor has serious lower end damage. The engine will need repaired or replaced. Tires have about 60-70% tread. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. If deposit has not been received within 48 hours of the end of the auction the vehicle will be re-listed, no exceptions. Balance due upon pick up. Vehicle must be picked up or paid in full within 10 days of the end of the auction. All shipping must be paid for by the winning bidder.
