Vehicle Detail
I purchased this car roughly 6yrs ago and i feel that it falls into the survivor category. There has been some modification from the way it came out of the factory but nothing in my opinion that hurts the value of the car or that couldn't be put back. I have included in the pictures some of the documentation that i have along with the car but not all of them since i'm limited to pictures. The story that i got when i purchased this car was that i was the 3rd owner. The original owner worked for Chrysler and purchased this car for his wife. With all the documents that came with the car gives me no reason not to believe the story. I have all the paperwork that they were given at the dealership at the time of purchase along with the original punch card used at the assembly line. The orginal sales brochure that the dealer ship used. I believe that this car must have been garaged kept for most of its life since i see no evidence of rust on the car. There isn't any scratches on the door glass. I've owned alot of ebody car but none that was as tight as this car is. It still rides like a new car. The changes that the 2nd owner did include : 4 barrel carb , 340 cam , dual exhaust and splash pan, rear deck spoiler, and rear center section seems to have a lower gear, still open rear. The interior is original, both front seats could use some stitch work but not replaced. This is a nice car, not perfect, like i said i feel it falls into the survivor category. Please come inspect or send an inspector. I do have the car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. feel free to call me at 443 829 4133 if you have any questions. On Oct-25-12 at 13:32:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention that the speedometer needle is broke. I took the car for a ride last year after sitting for about 10 months and I guess the speedo cable got dry. I pulled out on the road and the cable started to tick a little bit and believe it or not it bounced the needle one time and that's all it took and the needle broke. It has not made any noise at since that time and the speedo works fine. I've driven it several times since then with no problems at all. You can see it in the gauge picture that is in the photo gallery. Also I do have the original 14 inch rallye wheels with new bf Goodrich just like the 15 inch that I put on the car that will go with the sale of the car. I will knock off $1000.00 if I sell it with out the 15 x 7 rally wheels. Again the 14 inch have new BF Goodrich's on them also. The black on the inner fender wells / engine compartment is from the original owners having it ziebarted which i do have to paperwork when it was done. It seems to flake off reasonably easy and the original red paint under it appears to be in good shape. So I feel you can remove all of it if you would desire to do so. This is the last year for the Cuda's and this one still looks and rides like new. The car was repainted 8 months before i purchased it, so it does have one repaint. I havn't taken the time to track the numbers down but i would have to think this is a low production car spec out the way it is. It has all the options that a 360 cuda would have had except it has the 318. I can't even remember if i ever seen another one with the rallye cluster, hd suspension, front and rear sway bars, am/fm stereo, inside trunk release, rear defroster. This is just like the car that was used inside the original sales brochure that is included in the photos. Here is your chance to own a rare last year edition well preserved car. I know its not a big block ebody...and the price shows that...i don't have it priced out as a big block ebody...it would be 4 to 5 times the price if it were. but the truth be told its probably just as rare and i know with all the documentation that comes along with it makes it even better. Also this is something you can get in and drive more comfortable then the big block cars. I've had both and the small blocks i feel ride and handle better. no trades please...i have to many cars, i hate to be selling this one but something has to go.Inspections welcomed On Dec-13-12 at 12:32:00 PST, seller added the following information: I'm dropping my reserve to sell this car. It will be sold at the end of this auction with the 14inch ralley wheels ( NOT THE 15'S THAT ARE SHOWN ON THE CAR IN THESE PICTURES). I WILL SELL THE 15'S FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1000.00 NOTHING LESS SO PLEASE DON'T ASK. If you want them you can pay me the 1000.00 or someone else, doesn't matter to me. The 14's are the same style BF Goodrich's and are in new condition. Buyer is responsible for picking up, I Have a clean title that will release once i have the money. The new Buy It Now will be based on the car being sold without the 15 inch wheels. Please don't bid if you don't have the funds. This car is being re-listed due to non payment, buyer must have positive feedback, must call first if not. PAYMENT TERMS ARE CASH, CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECK THAT HAS CLEARED IN MY ACCOUNT OR MONEY ORDER. I WILL NOT DO WIRE TRANSFERS.
