MOTOR TREND'S 2013 'CAR OF THE YEAR'! The number 6 reservation in Canada! This is the earliest access possible in Canada. Don't suffer the year long wait. The winner of this auction will be able to customize the car choosing all options. I have been waiting over 3.5 years for this car, unfortunately I am not currently in a position to purchase the vehicle at this time or in the foreseeable future. As a winning bidder, you will pay me the amount of your winning bid AND will have to reimburse me the $5000 deposit I made when I made the reservation the first week Tesla Announced the Model S AND pay Tesla Motors the price of the car you will configure (minus the $5000 deposit) AND Federal and Provincial taxes. You will get my place in the reservation list and will be able to configure your car between Model S (40 kWh, 60 kWh, or 85 kWh) ORModel S Performance (85 kWh). Model S Signature is not available. Options and colors are available at http://www.teslamotors.com/en_CA/models/options. I have received confirmation from Tesla regarding registration of the vehicle. This is the exact quote as copied from the email received from Tesla; "You could register the car in someone else's name, but they would then own it." Tesla goes on to outline the procedure for registering the vehicle; "When you configure your Model S on your MyTesla page, it will ask for your registration information. You can then register the car how you would like." Transferring the reservation is a simple matter of adding an additional contact to the MyTesla page as evidenced by the following quote from the MyTesla page itself; "Click "Add Additional Contact" if you'd like to allow someone else to make decisions about your car and account." ACT FAST TO AVOID THE MODEL S PRICE INCREASE ALREADY ANNOUNCED. If you configure and finalize your order by December 31, 2012, you will receive current Model S pricing with NO PRICE INCREASE. If you prefer not to configure your Model S at this time, no problem, your reservation will remain intact. However, when you configure your car and finalize your order at a future date it will be under the new pricing and options schedule. There are also a number of  incentives you may be able to take advantage of when you purchase a Model S, including a $5,000 rebate in BC, $8,000 in Quebec, and $8,500 in Ontario.
