Up for auction is a 1929 MODEL AA TRUCK (Stake bed) CONVERTED TO A TOW TRUCK. This truck is exactly what you see. Everything is visible in the photos. It is not running. It has an automatic transmission and a V-6 engine. The truck was black, then appears to have been primered over with gray. The truck freely rolls. It needs a new top, meaning the wood, chicken wire and canvas. It has the complete towing system, compressor, tool box, air tank and a hose reel that is mounted on the side. It has a transmission cooler. There is some cancer in the usual places, but nothing major. Please check all of the photos listed on the EBay listing and all of the photos listed on the other website. I have included photos of the undercarriage as well. The tow-conversion was a quality job. The tow hydraulic system is operated by a cable/remote type button on it. This button is shown in the pictures as well. I also have the key to the ignition. This truck is mainly stock with the exception of the tow-truck conversion part. This is an amazing piece to have. The previous owner said that the truck was running, but has been sitting for many years. I have not tried to crank it over. If I do try to start it up, I will update the iformation on this page. Please check back for updates. The firewall was not hacked up with the installation of the V-6. Whoever installed ithe engine did a really clean job. There are two shifters, the smaller shifter is functional, the larger shifter appears to have just been left in and is not hooked to anything. Please make sure that you look closely at all the photos and ask all the questions you can before placing your bid. This truck is sold as-is with no warranty.
