WILLYS Edition: It was produced between 2004-2005 came standard with the 4.0 L, fog lamp and tow hook group, exclusive "WILLYS" decals, CD player with 7 speaker sound system, body-color fender flares, green diamond plate rocker guards, camouflage seats, dark green soft top and full-size spare tire with matching wheel. It was only available in moss green. Only about 1000 were produced in 2004. Condition: Very good, no dents, paint is still very shiny, there are only a few minor chips from 8 years of use. The windshield has a small sealed chip, and a small chip with cracks that can be sealed, or replaced. The interior door panels have one small crack from normal use. The gas cap is broken but seals the tank.The horn "Clock Spring" needs replacement. Transmission type: The Chrysler NSG370 is a six-speed overdrive manual transmission sourced from Mercedes. It is Jeep's first six-speed manual transmission andChrystlers second after the Dodge Viper T-56. The transmition has been serviced regulary by certified mechanics. The oil was changed regularly every 3,000-5,000 miles. There are no leaks in the oil pan or transmission, or axles, not one drip will fall on your driveway. Engine: The 4.0 is one of AMC's best-known engines. It was one of four AMC engines kept in production when Chrysler bought AMC in 1987. Chrysler engineers continued to refine the engine to reduce noise vibration and harshness, The last in the line of the AMC inline sixes, the 4.0 is regarded as one of the best 4x4 off-road engines. A Motor Trend long-term test of a 1997 Cherokee XJ noted "this long-lived OHV powerplant has a reputation for getting people where they need to go" as well as "much love expressed by owners for the torquey 4.0-liter/190-horsepower inline six." The engine is known for longevity and to go more than 300,000 miles (482,803 km) without rebuilding. There are many aftermarket parts available. Upgraded Wheels: The stock WILLYS Edition came with 15" black steel wheels, this one has (5) 15" alloy Jeep manufactured wheels. Tires: (5) 31"x 15" BFG T/A KM2, nitrogen filled, with a fair amount of tread left, and a spare that has never been used Soft Top: Very good condition, high quality after market .Black color, no tears, cracks, or holes. Only two years old.
