MECHANICS SPECIAL - PROJECT CAR.

NEEDS COSMETIC and MECHANICAL WORK.

Highlights:

• This BMW has 139,719 on it.
• The ENGINE IS BAD (Possible Blown Head Gasket) and it WILL NOT RUN.
• This 325iA Sport Wagon has been wrecked on the left rear and there is body damage and a bent axle (among other damaged parts there). You can see the damage in the pics below this description.
• This BMW recently arrived at our dealership and we are now listing it on eBay telling you of our visual observations regarding the car's mechanical/electrical and cosmetic condition.
• The BMW 2.5L, 6-cylinder is a well-built and proven engine and this one may be worthy of a rebuild, but it may need to be replaced. We have not diagnosed the exact problems with it. We do not know the condition of the automatic transmission since the car cannot be driven.
• The paint and body look very good all over this car except for the damaged area on the left rear, of course. The front bumper also has some damage on the right side and it is loose as well (see pic below).
• The battery is completely dead so we had to put a jump box on it to test the electrical items. The sunroof works, the Harman/Kardon Audio works, the climate control and blower works (we can't test the A/C since the engine won't run),and the power windows work.
• The interior looks OK. The seat leather is good up front (dirty), but the rear seat has several blemishes in the leather (see pic of one area below). The carpet has a bad stain in the left rear seat footwell, but the rest looks OK. The floor mats are missing. The plastic trim's tan and black colored coating (paint?) is chipping and scratched all over. The wood trim looks decent with only a few minor cracks in the clear coat.
• The aftermarket 17" alloy wheels look good (some scuffs in the paint) and the Primewell Performance tires are almost new.
• The VA State Inspection is a couple years old and it will not pass again in it's current condition.
• This BMW is a good project car for a qualified mechanic or it will make a good parts car. The good news is that the paint and body look very good and the interior is worth saving and most of the electronic features work. Bid now and bid often to win this NO RESERVE auction!!!
