THIS HAS BEEN MY JOY TO RIDE FOR 3 YEARS... recent surgery and medical necessity have taken me off of it. It has 20 miles on it, the distance between my home and the BMW dealership. I asked the manager there to give it a thorough go-over--- forks, seals, brakes, everything-- as well as all the scheduled maintenance, which has been performed on the dot (actually, before the dot) since I bought it. I am the only owner. Scott, the manager at Cross Country BMW, gave mechanical thumbs up. The first add-ons were of course, the seat. I added a Russel all-day, and recently an absolutely ingenious seat from PakMeister, a military spec designer. Both great seats come with the bike. I added a Vario screen, another ingenious bit of farkle, that makes the OEM screen actually work variably, and better. Handguards. Cylinder guards, and then a set of Twisted Throttles latest lights, the Denalis, which turn night into day and day into real good safety. Rear LED's in addition to BMW's-- visibility is great with this machine. I have had the cylinder heads removed,and gaskets replaced. The Denalis are a separate item, I will detail below. So this is a flawless mechanical machine that has toured and done the woods a little too (I had knobbies on,now replaced with a roadier Metzler). Cosmeticly, the bike has very few flaws, a cyclinder head (see photo) has a scratch, buffable. A decal or two left a trace residue that I will buff out myself. The luggage rack has a stone bite. Dressed with the soft bags I am keeping (Twisted Throttle) the bike was a petting zoo at gas stations & small towns. Tires have good tread, but can be replaced mid-summer next. Child is father to the man.... About those Denali running lights. I will sell them separately, for $250, if you want them mounted on the bike as they are. The purchase price above does not include the Denalis, so they are an 'option' to the base price for $250...
