1974 Toyota Land Cruiser F J 40. Built in September of 1974. Mostly complete including very very nice hardtop. Original inline six cylinder engine with factory 4 speed transmission. Holley 2 barrel carburator. Had set in a barn for 8 years without running. Engine does start and run with a hot battery and fuel poured directly into carburator. Rust in usual rust areas for F J 40's. Previous owner ( 2 owners from new ) was in the process of dismantling for restoration but health matters changed his plan for restoration. Interior items such as seats, fuel tank, front and rear heater and some lower dash parts were removed but are included in the sale ( see pictures ). PLEASE NOTE: Two ( 2 ) different metal hardtops are included in the purchase of this F J 40. One top has damage in two areas ( but rebuildable ) to the fiberglass roof and very rusty rain gutter and needs reinforced. The other top has near perfect fiberglass top with super nice rust free driver and passanger doors, lift gate and very good rain gutter that will need only minimal repair. Together both tops will make one very nice top with very very minimal ( mostly surface ) rust and additional glass and side panels left over to boot. All glass is good in both tops. One set of rust free doors only. Before bidding on this FJ, please check with major FJ 40 suppliers of what the value of the two hard tops alone are worth not counting the rest of your purchase. Even the worst of the two tops is rebuildable with extensive repairs. Please carefully look at pictures of both tops, seats, seat brackets, fuel tank, heater both front and rear and misc. items and email or call me at 918-606-1338 if you have questions. Clear clean Oklahoma title. Last year of tag was 2005. It is safe to say that this Land Cruiser is 80- 90 % complete. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Odometer shows 21,000 miles, but correct mileage unkown and exempt due to age. No warranties implied or expressed. Not a driver. Will need trailered home.
