1998 MERCEDES C230 SEDAN

This Benz has not been through our shop to check all mechanical/electrical systems, but the car does run and drive good!

Needs detailing inside and out.

Highlights:

• 146,056 miles, but runs and drives good.
• This C230 has a solid, comfortable ride!
• The CARFAX Report is CLEAN and this car has only had 2 Owners since new!
• Tires have 70%+ tread-life remaining in the rear, but the front tires may need to be replaced to pass State Inspection.
• The VA State Inspection is current on this car. We have not checked the car out for a new State Inspection. We will need to complete a new State Inspection for a winning Virginia bidder and the car may need some items (like front tires) to pass. Out-Of-State residents can take the car with the current inspection.
• This fuel-sipping C230 is a nice little car that will make an excellent 2nd vehicle. It isn't perfect, but can be driven and enjoyed pretty much as it is.
• The paint on this C230 is the original color, but the car has been totally repainted some years back. The paint looks decent all over, but a couple panels on the right side have color fade and there are some blotch marks on the left side. There are several tiny and/or small paint chips and scratches here and there. The tan leather interior looks good, although the driver's seat does have some cracks in the leather.
• The interior looks pretty good all over, but needs a good detailing, some leather repair and some headliner repair to look great. In other words: the carpet, seats and plastic pieces need cleaning in a few places and the headliner is falling down (it is held up by tacks in the rear). Other interior items are: The pop-out center cupholder is missing, the Climate Control display has some pixels missing, and the right-rear speaker is buzzing a little with heavy bass notes (may just be the plastic cover).
• The body of our C230 is straight and free of rust. The rear bumpers have multiple chips and scratches and the chrome trim on the rear bumper has some worn spots.
• We did not run this car through our shop and we cannot guarantee that all mechanical and electrical systems are working properly. We do know that the Power Seats don't work and that the CHECK ENGINE light is ON (we don't know the reasons for these two malfunctions). The GOOD NEWS is that the A/C works good, the power windows work, the sunroof works, the BOSE audio system works, the power mirrors work, and every other interior feature works just fine!
• Our C230 is loaded with Leather Seats, BOSE Audio, Heated Seats, Sunroof, and more!
• This car has lots of potential and is a great little car for NO RESERVE money!
