I’m listing this Avanti for a friend. He recently had it serviced at my shop, Avanti Restoration & Service Inc. in Greenfield, IN., which included glass bead and rebuild carb, tune up, rebuild rear wheel cylinders, new rear brake shoes, DOT 5 silicone brake fluid, installed new TACH sending unit, replaced defroster hoses, installed new red instrument lights, replaced upper radiator hose, air and gas filter. 1964 Studebaker Avanti R-4191B (Shipped to California) Final Assembly Date was April 29, 1963 Engine Number RS-2344 Current Mileage 88,076 The engine was rebuilt in 12/13/2001 with 83,252 miles on the Odometer. Additional new parts installed about this same time: Turner Front Brakes, New Master Cylinder, New Paint, New Seat Covers and Carpet, New Seat Belts, New Trunk Covering, New Upper Control Arm Bushings, New Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Fan and Fan Clutch, New Radiator, New Alternator, Rebuilt Supercharger, Rebuilt Transmission, Rebuilt Starter, Rebuilt Carburetor, and Heater Control Valve. Included is a folder about 1 inch thick of repair invoices and parts receipts. Brake Booster rebuilt in 2009. Included is the original production order – Final Assembly Line multiple color copy set (shipping dept (light blue), production record (pink), Dept. 158 (orange), Car Inspection Record Copy (yellow), Line Setting File Copy (white). The frame and hog troughs are in great condition. This supercharged Studebaker Avanti blasts down the Interstate with plenty of power waiting to be unleashed even at 70 mph.
