FIRST OFF, THIS IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED. Im taking my time to write all this so is long, bare with me. UP FOR SALE, MY CLASSIC CAR The Time has come to let ALL my toys go. I'm posting my very rear hard to find, 84 Toyota Supra LSD Turbo MK2 forsale. This is the full package version. First lets start out with the mileage, This supra has very low miles, only 91k. super low for this year. This car has zero rust, nothing under the car and nothing on outside, The paint is still the original paint which still shines very nicely, it could however use a nice polish and buff to make it very shinny again. The dash is also not crack which is very hard to find for this car. This car was well maintains by the old owners because for a 84, the exterior and interior is super nice. The power windows and locks both work and so does the side power mirror, The sunroof also open and close like it should and does not leak. I bought the car about a year ago all factory condition, But the old 5mge engine was too old and not enough power for my taste so I decided to upgrade the engine to a way better, stronger, newer model, The 7MGTE out of a 91 Toyota Supra turbo. The car was completed a few weeks later and since then I'd never had a chance to really use nor drive this car as I have WAYYYY too many toys. Now keep in mind ive build and owned so many of these cars I know exactly what to do and what to look for in these cars. This is not the first swap ive done and not the first mk2 supra I've owned. Before I tell the story, I want to let you know that when I was building this car, I wanted to build a fast, responding engine as well as a high hp car to drive daily. Here is the rundown of what I've done to the car. The 2.8 170hp 5mge non turbo engine was removed in favor of the bigger 3.0 245hp 7mgte turbo. I ordered a JDM 7m GTE engine, and before the engine install, the block was torn down and rebuild from ground up, new higher compression pistons, the factory 7mgte pistons were way too low of a compression, so the new higher piston was the installed, By installing these piston the engine has way more tq and hp and the best of all, way better response. These upgraded piston should yell an average increase of 50hp or so. The block then received new bearings, both mains and rods, the crank was micro polished and the block was also decked, the head was kept stock with a surface job and cleaning. The engine then received a HKS metel head gasket, these engines were known for it's suffering of blowing head gaskets because of the poor factory materials used in the head gasket, so the new head gasket solved the problem. No more head gasket failing. The engine was then installed along with a brand new clutch. After the install, the car received a full 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back to a Apexi muffler, which is a 75hp gain since the factory 7m system was REALLY restrictive. The car also has a intake system with 2.5 inch turbocharged pipe from turbo to the 3000 throttle pipe. I didn't feel the need for a intercooler so the factory intercooler was removed for better airflow. Until the turbo is upgraded I don't see a point in needing one. After the completion of the engine swap, the power steering had to be custom to work with the old 5m rack. So a new pressure hose had to be made. Also on the old 5m the alternator was on the other side so the wires had to be extended as well. Since I wanted a cleaner engine bay I had to make the factory 7m fan fit in the same place as the 5m did, so frab work had to be done to use the same radiator and shroud. The next part was the wiring, this was no plug and play system, everything had to be redone and wired to work with the new computer and engine. Again since I wanted the car to be factory I wired and customed everything to work on the factory dash. After the wiring was done to get the engine started and running, the wiring on the gauge cluster had to be redone as well. The rpm signal is different from the 5m to the 7m. So I had to cut into the original cluster and install the tach from the 7m cluster onto the 5m board. Which was no easy task. So after that, the temp gauge also needed hookup. The battery and fuel gauge also still works just like factory. The speedo works as well. The only thing that does not work is the oil gauge because I had to cut and make room for the rpm unit to work. Pretty much the whole swap was done just like it should making the new engine run with the old car like the original engine that came out of it. With all the stuff done to the car I would say it's a easy 350hp car on stock 6psi boost settings. The factory turbo can push easy 15psi and the engine can easy take 25psi plus, but the factory clutch will not hold. This car weighs about 2800lbs. with 350hp it's a super fun car to drive with TONS of toque behind it, of course, you would then start needing better supports, ie fuel controller, suspension upgrades, fuel system etc. I forgot to add the car has a aftermarket fuel pump as well. Now, for the not so good part of the car, ofcourse it's a 84, so it's not perfect like a 2012. The driver seat has a rip by the left shoulder, and the driver side door molding is starting to peel on the driver door near the back as well. There is a lower molding that sits under the drivers door which is missing, you can see it in the picture. And the worst of the car is there is dent on the top right headlight, it can also be seen in the picture as well, I have another part to replace that dented up piece that I will give along with the car. The car also needs both a/c lines to be remade as the new a/c compressor and lines are different in size. I can get it done for you for extra 200 if need. Last, it would need a turbo replaced or rebuild, it smokes on hard boosting acceleration and deceleration in gear. But it does not normal driving. That's it. If you have any question and serious about this car you can contact me through phone, I can also fix the turbo for extra. AND YES, THIS CAR WILL DRIVE TO WHERE EVER YOU HAVE TO GO.......
