1938 GMC pickup,454 cubic inch and a 400 turbo, both out of a motor-home with 68,000 miles. Very clean inside.Front axle is out of a 1932 chevy 5 window coupe that has new leaf springs,front and rear spring hangers and koni front shocks,and chevy juice brakes.1938 chevy truck steering box with very little play and also gm pittman arm. Front frame rails were "Z" 7 inches, body was dropped 8 inches and the roof line was chopped 6 inches.This truck sits "LOW" with still nice body to ground clearance.Interior has a custom built floor and a raised trans tunnel.Also has 1938 dash and original truck steering and brake pedal assembly out of a 1972 el-camino that was installed.At the rear the bed was shortened to 48 inches.the bed has a custom bed cover made out of barn wood that hinges to access the battery box that is mounted on the lower frame rail.the rear frame was built out of 2x3 square tubing with S&W adjustable coilovers,NMW ladder bars,and a adjustable pan-head bar that holds a camaro non-posi rear-end in place. Drive shaft is a truck shaft that was shortened and balanced and has new front and rear u-joints. Fuel tank is around 15 gallons that was out of a army truck and had the inside coated and has a manual fuel gauge that works.front tires are "COKER CLASSIC" G78x14 and the rear tires are COKER as well L78x15.The truck does roll and steer nice.All the hard work is done on this truck. Just needs brake lines, seats headers, seats .wireing, ETC. this would make a nice winter project,and could be done intime for the spring car shows. Might consider selling with -out the motor and trans.
