Vehicle Detail

Selling my beloved TA to raise teenage son's tuition cash. It can be a great restoration project, although it can run once original motor is fixed, or changed. The history of the car, to my knowledge: i am the second owner, a girl owned before me. Brought it at 154 k original miles and put 35k more driving great. Now 189 k. The motor did not die on me while driving , my mechanic by chance told me that he noticed water in the oil, so i drove it home and it has been parked since. Don"t know what exactly the problem is, maybe head gasket. I was considering putting a used 403 to continue driving and eventually to find a reliable shop or person to rebuild the original motor, but decided not to touch and mess switching motors temporary. My local classic muscle car dealer quoted me on rebuilding the motor, but i heard they were not very reliable. I did have a new transmission put in, after the old one died, and did exhaust work also. The good on this car is fundamental: clean title, original motor(not working) original frame, body, seats( back seats as new, rarely used), gold dash etc. Awesome killer original hood Firebird decal still looking great, almost all TA from these years have replicas, but would not even think of replacing it with a cheap replica decal. Original gold honeycomb wheels! There is rust, i was driving it as is, eventually the rust parts can be cut out and repaired if restoring. A small dent on one front side. Wear and tear on front original black seats. Like i mentioned back seats are like new. Windows are all original, driver's door is busted a little, while towing car. I will not give this car away, would rather looked at it parked in front as a old skool troublemakers "blue collar muscle car classic", even it is rough, but with a lot of history, shape. Will be great for someone with the time, funds and knowledge and love for this TA to restore. Any questions, only text or message, cause i work in factory and phone is checked on breaks only (314) 229-2344 Thank you
