This is an original and complete 1969 Cougar XR-7 convertible which was orginally sold in California. The car is good running and driving condition and would make a good restoration project. This car has the orginal 1969 351 Windsor, which is the most desirable of all 351 Windsors. Open to all offers, the car is currently in Severn , MD. Lights do work. Driver read quarter panel, runt in front of tire, small dent behind tire, some bubbling on lower quarter from prior body work. Rear bumper tarnished and small amount of surface rust. Rust on left strip above trunk lid and convertible top. Passenger rear quarter bubbled behind tire and rust in front of tire. Passenger door rust lower front and rear of panel Convertible top a few years old in very good condition. Electric motor functions properly. Big chip in front windshield drivers side. All other windows good condition. Read window handles missing. Car was originally power windows. Problems with motors lead to removing power windows and converting to cranks. Both door panels replaced. Old door panel are with the car. Horn does not work. One removed from the car. Left turn signal works in front. Rear sequential light partially works. Right turn signal work in front. Rear sequential light partially working. Headlights and brake lights work.3 of 4 side marker lights work. Windshield wiper work. Heater works but only defrost blows on high. Air conditioner installed on car but not functioning. Drive belt removed. Courtesy and map lights do not work. Lights on door panels do work. AM/FM stereo has power but does not work. Not sure if antenna is attached. Gauges: What works – speedometer, tach, fuel, oil pressure, odometer reads 03688 What does not work – AMPS, Temp. Drivers seat badly torn and cracked. Passenger and rear seat have cracks but no tears. The car starts usually on first try and runs properly. Burns a little oil. Underside of car is rusty. Front floorboards are soft and rust flaking. Power steering fluid leaking from hoses and cylinder. Requires fluid top off before driving. Transmission has slow leak around pan. It is wet. Rear differential is dry, no leaks. I think the seal was replaced at some point. Four Classic – steel belted radials in very good condition. 4 hub caps in good condition.
