Vehicle Detail

This listing is for a 1989 Convertible Maserati. This is the car that the Lebaron Convertible was intended to look like. This kind of car holds the record for being the most expensive K Car ever built. It was hand assembled in Italy and imported to the US. This particular car is the more desirable version that has the 16 valve intercooler configuration with the 5 speed. There were only a total of 7300 units made for the whole production run and just 501 of them were the configuration this one is. This one has the 5-speed Getrag transmission. This car would be a great collector car. If you know what this car is you know that what I am selling is a real gem. This car was 33,000 dollars brand new. This car was sitting near a building that burned, this damaged the finish of the paint. Everything else looks great. The good:-Less that 4200 miles (No kidding)-Tan leather interior-Optional CD player (super rare for a 1989 car)-Starts up great - drives fine-Just changed oil and filter-Just changed fuel filter-Just flushed coolant-New air filter-Hard top included with the trident porthole windows-Soft-top looks like it was never used -Clean title and Car-fax-No dents or body damage-All stainless trim is free of dents and can be polished back to original-Includes the original Maserati toolkit-Includes the original Maserati umbrella with leather case (seriously that is a feature)-Did I mention how low the miles are on this?-One set of keys but they are the original keys where the trunk key has the Maserati/Chrysler logo on it (super rare)-Includes original owners manual-Original Fondmetal wheels are undamaged need polish but no scrapes or dings in them at all-tires are good-battery is about a year old-I have a temp tag on it now so that it will be easier to sell The bad:-Needs new paint-Small damage to the leather on a very small portion of the dash due to heat (see photo)-Has sat for the last 20 years, at high RPMs the fuel pump has a hard time keeping up. JC Witney has a replacement for about 50 bucks.-I cannot afford to keep it, I am unemployed and the wife says it has to go (my loss your gain)
