FOR SALE AT LAWSON AUTO.....16241 HWY 63.....BLOOMFIELD, IA 52537 I DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS . . . . . . . . . . . . . CALL....... 641-664-3612 REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS ARE 9:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. IT IS A USED VEHICLE AND WILL BE SOLD AS-IS-NO WARRANTY TRUCK HAS A PRIOR SALVAGE TITLE & AN ODOMETER DISCREPANCY I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY CHECK MY FEEDBACK - JUST RECEIVED FEEDBACK ON A 347,000 MILE POWERSTROKE TRUCK. DRIVEN HOME 400 MILES LOADED WITH A SUV It is a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins Turbo Diesel. The fellow I got it from purchased it and it had front end damage. He purchased it with a salvage title and you see what his intentions were. It was a quad cab, long bed pickup and is now a quad cab extended cab short box pickup. The frame has not been lengthened and factory tags and stickers are still readable. The cabs were joined, a short box added and the rear axle centered under the wheel well opening of the box. It is quite unique and the only one I have seen. It drives great, for a Dodge, and runs like a beast. Has the Edge Juice 5 stage, change on the fly, programer on it. All options work. I drove the truck home and have driven it since. I've put around 200 or so miles on it and have noticed nothing odd, peculiar, or abnormal about it. Like I said it runs out very good and drives great. Brakes are good, clutch is good, front end is good, 4x4 works just fine, tires are average to better than average and match rear and match front. They are 285/75/16 and stock Dodge wheels. There is no cracked or broken glass and the interior is nice. If your truly interested you'll call anyway and I'll answer all questions then. It does have a few blemishes here and there like on the rocker panels where the cabs were joined. Couple small spots on right boxside on wheel well and place on the roof. None of it is horrible, but look at the pictures and you'll see what I am referring to. It is a stand up truck and a 1 of a kind, but it is still a used vehicle and not new. A used vehicle has wear because of use, so don't call and ask if its like new. It is a used vehicle and not new. Most people that buy these trucks plan on using them, not just looking at it. Odometer reads just shy 250,000. I imagine what happened is the batteries were dead and when the insurance adjuster turned the key on he couldn't read the miles because the odometer light would not light. Regardless it does show an odometer discrepancy and the miles are exempt anyway. The fellow I purchased it from had replaced the hood, fender, radiator, headlights, bumper and all the typical stuff you'll have on a front end damaged vehicle. He had pulled a gooseneck trailer to Florida with it several times and had no issues with it at all. I believe he said he had put about 70,000 miles or so on it so it is tried and true. I have had it on concrete and discovered no drips. Previous owner was a mechanic and spent a lot of money and time building this truck to be what he wanted. He had replaced lots of parts in order to update the truck and make it dependable, reliable and useable for his families needs. However, circumstances changed and he had to sale it. AGAIN.
