This 2002 Ford F150 is no average work truck because it's powered by Compressed Natural Gas. Formerly the property of a local municipality, it has only 89K miles and still looks, runs, and drives well. However, it does have some cosmetic issues that should be pointed out. The paint looks good from a distance, but up close there are quite a few chips and dings. The doors still have some glue residue from the city decals, and unfortunately some deep scratches where they were removed. Both bumpers are scuffed and dinged, and the tailgate has a small dent. (see photo) Inside, the seat looks good, as does the dash and headliner, but the floormat could use a good cleaning. All controls seem to work well. Mechanically, it runs and drives well, and the tires are less than 50% worn. The CNG tanks are compliant until 2017. A rare truck that could save you a lot at the gas pump and should be legal on most HOV lanes.
