Hello, This is a 1955 First Series Chevy 1/2 Ton Shortbed Pickup Truck. The doors are in great condition for there age This truck is a prime canidate for someone to clean up and detail it out for a full restoration, When I found this truck it was in a Old Farm Shed and the owner said it ran when it was parked quite a few years ago, but I put a Battery in it and the starter was draging and fuel poured out of the Carburator, So I bought a new Carburator and installed it and it fired right up, but the starter still needs replaced and The Gas tank should be checked out too, I bypassed the gas tank to start the engine, knowing that crud in the old gas tank is not good for a new caburator. The Drivers side floor will need a piece welded in as can be seen in one of the pictures, I cut the rust area out so a patch can be welded in, or you can buy a new floor pan cheap enough. This truck has a 3 speed transmission on the steering column and the shift arm fell off and needs to be put back on, the arm is in the truck. The bed of the truck is in really good condition for its age, not all bent up like most beds of this age. And the truck has split dual exhaust pipes. I added a picture of the Signed California Title.
