you are bidding on an incredible 1969 chevelle mailibu with ss396 trim. this car originally came from the bay area of california and has been located in the desert southwest of el paso texas for the past 10 plus years. i am listing this car for josh, the current legal owner. i personally restored the body and interior about 5 years ago. this car has near perfect original gm sheet metal (never wrecked) with the exception of the aftermarket fiberglass cowl induction hood. the interior was factory original until i replaced the carpet, seat covers, dash pad, headliner and other small trim parts. the car retains its factory paint color, champane (original paint until it was repainted about 5 years ago), and its original pearle color interior. josh has built an awesome 383 small block engine and here are the details of the drivetrain: the engine has 10 to 1 compression, forged pistons and rotating assy, crower solid roller cam and lifters, comp pro rockers, world products heads. tranny is an ATD turbo 400 with brake, 9" ATD convertor. the rear axle is 8.5 10 bolt posi with 4:11 gears. suspension: manual steering and manual front disk brakes, tubular control arms, AFCO double adjustable shocks, aftermarket rear control arms, rear bag.
