THE PICTURES ARE AT THIS LINK, fixed link, was not working, this should do it https://plus.google.com/photos/108188418024533456380/albums/5445951844722284817 THIS IS THE CAR, I BOUGHT IT FROM AN ESTATE TWO YEARS AGO, IT WAS PARKED IN A GARAGE SINCE 1982 AND IS STILL IN A GARAGE, NEVER STORED OUTDOORS. THE MOTOR DOES NOT TURN OVER BUT THE CAR IS AS IT WAS FROM THE FACTORY. I HAVE CLEAR TITLE, ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE, ORIGINAL SHOWROOM BROCHURE AND SERVICE RECORDS. ORIGINAL KEY FOB FROM DEALER. CHROME IS NEAR PERFECT. I WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY QUESTIONS OR ANSWERING EMAILS UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF AUCTION, IT IS WHAT IT IS, THE PRICE IS RIGHT. GREAT PROJECT FOR THE RIGHT PERSON. IT IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF AN ORIGINAL 1962 SUNBEAL ALPINE, PRICED CORRECTLY, GOOD LUCK Other 1961 project at this link https://plus.google.com/photos/108188418024533456380/albums/5152107391686788241 All metal work done, full body, all parts, including hardtop with all trim, engine at Senfts, total rebuild. offers at auction end On Dec-02-12 at 13:56:02 PST, seller added the following information: A member asked about the motor not able to turn, this is the answer; Car was sitting in garage since 1983 because the previous owner was too old to drive. I got the car with the motor unable to turn. I took out plugs, loaded with Kroil, flushed out fuel tank, took off oil pan. I was unable to turn the motor due to the fact that this car came with a front crank pulley set up for a hand crank starter, no hex nut. I rebuilt the master and slave on the clutch and rolled the car foward and back to free motor, did not happen. Did not want to break crank so I continued to add kroil every time I walked by the car. I inspected the engine with the oil pan off and everything is where it should be and in excellent condition, no sludge, no metal bits, rods and crank intact and in excellent condition. The rings are stuck to the cylinder walls, no crank nut to grab on to. What has to happen here is head removal, loosen pistion rings by tapping lightly and remove pistons, hone and new rings, this would be what I would and will do if the bidder drops out or the car does not sell. Need room in the shop, car is in the way. Another asked about the 1961 and if it is a two for one. No, this is a completely different car It is there if someone wants a complete body with all metal work done, get in touch after the auction and we can talk. I have all the other parts as well, engine is in Richie Senfts shop in Connecticut. He is the best there is. Tins are all powdercaoated waiting for motor. Numbers match on both cars.
