Vehicle Detail

1970 HONDA CB750 K0 Sandcast with Original Patina. Unrestored, with only two owner-mechanics for this bike since 1969. Known to all Motorcycle experts as the "game changer" when it debuted in 1969. Two of the Top Motorcycle Magazines have named this original model (designated K0) CB750 as the MOTORCYCLE OF THE CENTURY! This is an auction for a used Honda CB 750 that I have owned for the past 8 years. I have ridden this bike regularly on non-raining weekends and I can assure you, the bike has never broken down. It is a lot of fun to ride this bike. It is a state of art motorcycle made in 1969. Needless to say, the bike brings ton of attention and good memories to the bike lovers and Honda fanatics. Do your homework, learn about the Honda CB 750. Check YouTube and different web sites like SOHC4 among others. This bike is well-known in South Florida among my friends. This particular bike got some prizes at the Boca Raton Concourse of Elegance and at Diana Beach back on 2008 & 2009. It is pictured on Dupont Magazine. Also this bike is registered on the cb750sandcastonly web site. Everything is documented. I bought this bike from the original owner back in 2004 with the intention to restore it completely but I never had the proper funds to make it a museum piece. This is your opportunity to own a very rare and sought-after bike. There are not many Hondas with Sand Cast Engine available in the market, and most of them have been already restored with NOS parts and others Yamiya replacements. Keep in mind; you can restore a bike thousands of times but an original you will only have once. The Bike has 52,624 Miles and the Engine still has a lot of compression. I have been riding with K1 carburetors but I still have the original 4x4 carburetor & cables that goes with the Bike. The SandCast engine is number CB750E1005961 The gas tank is the original. It is clean inside, faded on the outside. (See photos of the tank inner) The bike comes complete with everything including the original stock DUCK-TAIL seat. The original Tool Kit is complete with the rare point and valve gauges. Original Title is in my name, and I still have the original Owner’s Manual and Shop Manual in immaculate condition (see pic for printed dates), which will go with the bike. Just the Original Manual from 69 goes for a small fortune on EBay when listed for seller. All-original Stanley tail and signal lenses are not cracked or faded. The Chrome is fading and it shows a little pitting when we look closely. There are no oil leaks or signs of oil drool around the seals or gaskets. The engine is still unopened with lots of compression. Like I stated I still ride this bike every Sunday for fun. All the components, electrical, bearings, starter etc... Works as they should with not problems at all. Ebay has its own rules in regards outside links so, please write me an e-mail and I will gladly forward a Picasa link for you to see about 100 details pictures from the bike These bikes are now the new "gold standard" for collectible, affordable motorcycles that you can actually ride anywhere. Two of the top Motorcycle publications have named this bike the "MOTORCYCLE OF THE CENTURY" because of the significance of what change took place in the industry ever since. Unfortunately the bike has had some little issues during its riding life and I want to be very transparent on my auction so below you will find a list of the all the cosmetic problems & pictured: *Air Box is cracked but it has been fixed with epoxy. This is a very common problem on these bikes *The short Plastic Chain guard is cracked and there is a little piece of the black plastic missing *The bike fell on low speed on the right side and due this fact, it has a few small scratches on both the front cut fender and fluid break cap . The original mirror was broken and has been replaced with a non-original one. *The previous owner never told me what exactly happen but it seems to me that something fell on the right side of the bike scratching the tank, leading to some damage on the left top side fins of the engine head. It has been welded and need a better finishing once restored it will looks like new. There is no major damaged on it. *The Oil plastic cover has a crack on the bottom which has been glued with epoxy. *The original duck seat tail has the foam dried and the foam need to be replaced. *The right side of the engine has some fins broken. Please check the pictures which show everything listed. The bike has most of the original parts except exhaust, tires, battery and some bolts replaced throughout the time. Call me with any questions or if you want to check in person 954-704-1477. The bike is for sale locally so it can be sold at any time. Like I stated before, I still ride this bike every Sunday for enjoyment. DON'T LET THIS OPPORTUNITY SLIP PAST YOU IF YOU'VE EVER WANTED TO OWN ONE OF THESE SOUGHT-AFTER CLASSICS. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. I can send you a link with pictures so you can check about 100 detailed pictures of the bike. There is no “buy it now” and the reserve has been set for a reasonable price. I will help you ship the bike domestically or internationally but shipping quotes and Cargo Agents will be up to you to obtain and decide. Believe me, you will not regret this purchase and if you are a Honda Fanatic like me, you will be very pleased. Have this very nice Christmas present for yourself. Thanks for stop by Good Luck and Happy Bidding Mickey On Nov-25-12 at 11:07:44 PST, seller added the following information: I just add some additional pictures on the Picasa WEb Site showing the Carburetor , cable and the magazine where the bike has been pictured E-mail me for link
