LeBaron produced 25 examples of the two passenger coupe on model K chassis for 1936. Powered by a 414 cubic inch V12 engine, the LeBaron coupe offered its owners the ultimate in intimate luxury transportation. This rare and beautiful classic has blue exterior paint, outstanding chrome, dual side mounts and a black textured, padded top. The interior is dark beige cloth with wood framing on the dash, side windows and back window. The handsome instrument panel includes a glove compartment with lock. Luggage may be placed on the trunk rail or in the luggage compartment. Parcels or golf clubs are accommodated in a special curbside compartment. The 3 speed manual transmission was improved by the use of helical gears for low and reverse speeds as well as second and high. A synchronized shifter makes shifting into second and high speeds easy and silent. Regular equipment includes safety glass, an adjustable front seat, twin stop and backing lights and a rearview mirror. It would be hard to find a more original 1936 Lincoln Lebaron with its superb mechanical integrity.
