460 V-8 ENGINE (Bored .040 over to produce 450 HP) This is a 1976 Ford Gran Ford Torino. It would make a great “STARSKY & HUTCH” Torino, or keep it white or paint it any other color-- it looks great. Four NEW BF GOODRICH tires SLOTTED MAGS 15x8.5 rear and 15x7 front in perfect shape with ET CAPS It also has a rare white interior with black headliner. Interior is spotless. All electrical components work, and it contain the original radio. The floors, frame, and body are solid, with no rust or dents at all. There no issues at all with the body. Grill, bumpers, and chrome are in excellent condition. The motor compartment was painted the S & H red by the previous owner. All the letters ("Ford," "Gran Torino") are included. Starsky & Hutch white stripe template is included so that you can choose to have it painted in the Starsky & Hutch motif. The "rake" (back end higher than front), tires, wheels, suspension, shocks are just right and give this monster a perfect look. And this thing is a monster, with monster power. It is a blast to drive.Known issues are: needs new glove compartment lining (around $17 from Dearborn Classics); there is red primer around door jambs (see pictures); it needs a good paint job...the hood has primer; one of the engine pulleys needs a new bearing (doesn't effect function or drivability, just makes a whirring noise); the previous owner cut a hole in the hood and then welded it back, and it shows on the underside of the hood (but not on the top surface of the hood); the rearview mirror needs to be glued back onto the windshield; it does not have tailpipes...this does not affect drivability
