Someone is going to get a smoking deal on a smoking car. Have an opportunity to fast forward my retirement so my favorite car of all time must go. This car is owned by a certified car nut. Wash, cleaned, and waxed on a regular basis, you will need sunglasses at midnight to look at the sparkling finish. A total 3M clear protection is on the car. Complete front fascia, lights, mirrors, rear bumper up to trunk lid has been protected with 3M. Remainder of 5 year warranty will exist on this very expensive dealer installed option. Factory warranty is still in full force and the recent first maintenance was performed by Audi. Car runs and drives like a champ. Performance After very careful research and a ton of test drives of everything under the sun regardless of price, the TT was the biggest surprise. Overlooked because of its automated manual, I was blown away by the responsiveness of the DSG. The blips on downshifts, instant blink of an eye up-shifts, the automatic downshifts while braking, performed with smoothness I only felt in the very expensive Porsche PDK.. I count five different ways to engage the transmission. Add the stop on a dime brakes and the famous Quattro, all wheel drive system, this car keeps you fully entertained while keeping you safe. Launch control is available on the car, which I did not try. The power was more than satisfying with the reported 0 to 60 in just over 5 seconds. Soaks up the bumps with ease and on the highway this becomes a perfect crusin, top down, cruiser, comfortable and quick, returning unbelievable gas mileage. Recorded 32 MPG! on our last trip. Interior What can you say about the Audi's interiors that has been already said in countless publications. Absolutely stunning. This is my favorite Audi interior out of all the cars that they produce. It matches the character of the car perfectly. All power multiple (10) adjustment seats that also includes 4 way power lumbar support for both driver and passenger. At 6 ft 1, I found at no time I needed more room. The seats are very comfortable while holding you in place and offering leg room unsurpassed in a two seater. Eight storage spaces inside the cabin, with four being hidden. Wind screen is electric and will go up and down at a push of a button. Automatic triple insulated top that comes down with a push of a button. (no latches to undo)Trunk room for a two seater is tremendous and confirmed during a recent vacation. (My wife packs half the house). Entertainment-two SD slots will hold tons of music and the flawless Ipod interface will keep you entertained as the miles go by without notice. Nine speakers and 140 watts crank out the tunes Add the factory navigation, we used any excuse to go out crusin. Exterior Modern sleekness is the only word that describe the appearance of this luxury two seater. Everywhere we go heads turn and stopping for gas has become a question and answer session. 24 LED's (12 on each side and below the head lights) gives the impression of looking at something very special. Matching paint on the mirrors with signal indicators that both the driver and others can see. Taillights are almost 3 dimensional in appearance with clear visibility that demands attention. Xenon plus lights, and fog lights with automatic on feature, lights up the road and the high beam flashes can move the herd out of the way. The standard features on the car are expensive options from other manufacturers. This car is a blast to drive and inspires confidence on the twistys. The TT was a perfect blend of everything we wanted. Performance, comfortable, interior storage ,trunk, bad weather companion, killer interior, superb build quality, NOT a gas guzzler etc etc Bottom line, this car does it all. This is a very very tough decision to let this go and has caused multiple spousal debates. (She loves the car too and it is the only non third pedal car she will drive) Check my 100 % feedback and please don't feel shy about asking any questions. I will talk cars all day especially this one. At the time the lucky new owner and me makes this happen, I will need a 500 dollar deposit. Balance to be paid prior to pick up or shipping with funds verified at the issuing bank or clearing of check via our bank. Please Note: The hurricane that struck the Northeast with a vengeance caused a major gas shortage which forced us to take the TT out of storage, 7 days after the storm struck. The fantastic gas mileage and the full tank got us past the crisis. However, before putting the car back in storage, I again clean and washed the car before putting the cover on. Unfortunately and stupidly I came too close to the curb and scraped the wheel. Pictures are posted of all wheels.
