A true survivor, in very good shape. Clean Title, in hand. Southern California Bike 1975 Honda XL 350, 90% restored- I prefer to call it very good used condition. Original. Clean and in very good shape- I have taken a good part of this motorcycle apart, cleaned it , polished parts, replaced parts where needed, etc. Bike has a variety of new parts- tail lens, hand grips, mirrors. I had the tank and fenders professionally polished. The seat has NO tears in it. The bike is quick and fun. Clutch and brakes are strong. Keep in mind, this bike is 38 years old- its not going to be perfect. For example, the right side engine case has some scratches. I purposely did not replace the engine case because I felt that the scratches were not severe enough to warrant a replacement. I consider this bike to be in ORIGINAL condition- not restored, not a trailer queen, this is a driver- and a nice one. Items for disclosure: I would replace the tires. They have good tread, but they are older. There are some scratches on the forks. The paint on the fenders is a little dull (despite being polished ). The gas tank has a small scratch on the left side This bike would take very little to push it into the Excellent category. I think the new owner will be getting a true classic survivor bike at a very good price. (reserve is set low) Questions?- Please ask, I will be glad to answer your questions. On Nov-18-12 at 22:47:17 PST, seller added the following information: For example, the spark plug is new, the right side handle bar controls are new, the exhaust is aftermarket, new side decals, many years ago the wiring harness was hacked into so you dont need a battery, I replaced the wiring harness along with one of the rear turn signals. There are simply some things here and there on the bike that need to be corrected, adjusted, polished, etc. Bike is stock (except for the exhaust) and has everything it needs to be street legal. I think the weakest part of the motorcycle is the electrical system. As I mentioned in a previous post, the main wiring harness was modified by the previous owner so that you can run the motorcycle without a battery. I am not an electrician, so I left it alone. Bike runs without it and even though the wiring harness is only a few connections, I didn't want to mess with it. In order for the bike to be perfect I would replace the main wiring harness (there is one on Ebay "Buy it now" for $70- Item number 140661612608 ). All the wires are there, I simply dont know how to replace/change the wiring from its current set up to a different system or new harness without screwing something up. I mistakenly stated in a previous post that I had replaced the main wiring harness- I have NOT replaced the main wiring harness. My apologies for any confusion on this issue.
