This is a 1980 Corvette made to look like a 1982 Collectors Edition. This has all the trimmings of a 1982 Collectors Edition inside and out. Car has a rebuilt 350 engine with 300 HP. There are approximately 6000 miles on the rebuilt engine. It also has a 350 turbo rebuit transmission I purchased this car in July of 2007 and it has been in some small shows where it received a lot of OOO's and AHH's. The previous owner installed new Tan carpeting, New Battery (October 12), and Alternator (07) It does not have the crossfire badges on the exterior. I Installed all new Brake system , Pads and calipers in October 2012. The car has been freshly tuned and the oil has been changed in October 2012. Paint on the car is in decent condition with some minor cracking begining (please see pictures). Also, the car has some frame repair on the front left. This work was completed prior to my purchase of the vehicle. This is a nice project car for the enthusiast and it runs strong. Car has great tires and wheels as can be seen in the pictures. I bought this car 5 years ago with the hopes that I would have the time to devote to a total restoration and that never happened. The car has been garaged kept and has not had a drop of rain, sleet , wind, or snow on it since I purchased it in 2007. The interior was purchased separately and is is not the traditional Collectors Edition style. The seats are a buckskin Tan with matching door panels. T-Tops are in nice condition. Not sure if all the options like power seats and door locks work. They appear to require further connection. Air conditioning works but needs to be recharged. The car is being sold "AS IS" with no implied warranties. I think the new owner will love finalizing the restoration as this is one of the beautiful blasts from the past in the Corvette world.
