Vehicle Detail

Here is my 1988 IROC-Z Camaro. I have owned this car since July 1989 (second owner). The original owner bought it for his wife, but she didn't like the heavy-duty clutch that these came with, so he sold it with about 7-8,000 miles on it. This car only has 54,+++ original miles on it which can be verified. I only drive it once in a while but start it pretty regularly. Almost everything is factory original on the car. It runs great as it always has, and the ride is as tight and smooth as when new. People who are familiar with these cars know that if it's driven hard, the ride isn't as stiff and everything loosens up, causing noises and rattles everywhere as you're driving. This car has none of that as I have not abused it at all. Parts replaced: -battery -alternator and serpentine belt -front brake pads, calipers -coil -fuel filter The negative issue with the car is that the original cheap GM paint has started to peal on the hood and rear hatch lid. Unfortunately, I had to store the car outside in Florida over the past 3-4 years and the sun baked the paint. Anyone who knows anything about cars and in particular, GM, knows that from the mid-80's to early to mid-90's, they had a defect in the paint formula which resulted in this issue. The other negative is that while the car was parked, a truck backed into the left front fender and put a minor dent in it as well as a very small dent above the right frt. wheel. Classic Industries sells new fenders for $100-120 each. That small cost along with an economical paint job will leave your Camaro worth at least $9-10,000. The interior is literally almost like new. There is no wear on the drivers seat or the carpet, the two places that would show up easily. Please call me @ 407-314-0372 and leave a message if I don't answer. Car is equipped with the following factory options: -5.0 liter F code engine -5-speed manual transmission (RARE) -T-tops -power front drivers seat, windows, locks, rear-hatch, antenna, mirrors -cruise control -tilt-wheel -rear defroster -A/C This car is also for-sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. I will accept cashiers check or cash for payment. There is a $500.00 deposit for immediate payment after auction ends. Remainder of payment due within 3 days.
