Up for auction is a 1980 Mercury Custom Landau Thacker Coach Hearse. This car was used in our family funeral business. We have updated our fleet and we would like to sell this one. This car has sat idle for some time. Feel free to ask any questions you may have before bidding. This is a NO RESERVE auction ! Payment is due 3 days after auction closes. Thank you for looking and bidding.On Nov-15-12 at 16:40:27 PST, seller added the following information: As of November 15, 2012 5:00 p.m. EST. I just got back from starting this vehicle. Yes it does run and sounds good, I put 5 gallons of fresh gas in the tank and I ran it for 45 minutes, no knocks or noises. I did move it a little, the transmission seems fine. There is however an issue with the brakes. Not exactly sure what the problem is. I do think that it needs a battery as I had to use my jump pack to start it. All the lights, turn signals and heater worked. Not sure about the A/C.
