PLEASE DO NOT BID OR MAKE OFFERS IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PAY! Up for your consideration is a very collectible and Rare 1973 Super Beetle Sport s bug edition! I bought this car from the original owners son some time back. It has been kept in the garage since I bought it with of the hopes of some day getting to restore it. However I am coming to realize I just don’t have the time or space for all the projects I have going on and my wife would really like her spot in the garage back =) I have been told this is one of the most collectible Beetles of its time. I don’t believe I have ever seen Volkswagen do so many factory changes on a Beetle. The wheels, the seats, the steering wheel, the trim color and other little details truely made a mark in Volkswagen history. Look up 1973 VW Sports Bug to find out more information on this Rare Limited Edition Volkswagen or go to www.sebeetles.com This car was manufactured in February 1973 Up for sale is my 1973 Volkswagen Sports Bug. This is a limited edition run Volkswagen offered in 1973 only. It has Special seats, Wider deep dish looking Wheels, Center console, Blacked out trim. All from the factory. It looks good in pictures but this car is A 50 footer in my opinion. Although I don’t see any Major signs of rust its current paint job and body work leave much to be desired. (Nothing was taped off when it was painted) and the paint is not smooth and they did not take the time to fix dings, scractches and so on before applying the new paint With the exception of the battery tray area which is starting to go bad (see pictures) The rest of the pan appears to be in good shape. The owner’s manual still has the insert for the Special seats. It has 4 of the original ET 26 rims. with 4 brand new Tires. In the last year it has had, new master cylinder, 4 New Wheel Cyclinders and rear brake shoes, New battery, new front windshield and window seals. 4 new tires, no evidence of any accidents. The engine runs but needs some adjustments From sitting. And for this reason I would not recomend driving it. (it has not been on the street for over 8 years) When bought the bug I installed a new clutch, flywheel, Throw out bearing, rear main seal, New Pushrod tubes and new seals, Installed rebuilt cylinder heads. I also had the engine tin sandblasted and repainted. The carb was fairly new when I bought the car but it has been sitting. It also has a new starter, I am sure there is more just can not think of it at this time The interior is complete and Still original to the best of my knoweldge. except for the carpet All and all this is a great candidate for restoration. It looks like all the fenders; hood, doors, deck lid and so on are original German Please ask any questions before bidding. Must be picked up in 14 days. GA BILL OF SALE ONLY!! NO TITLE. The Car is Registered and insured in my name This car will be sold on a GA BILL OF SALE ONLY! NO TITLE THIS VEHICLE IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY! Please feel free to make reasonable offers. SOLD AS-IS. NO WARRAMTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED This is a Rare find and seems to have all of it original accessories and is quite possibly one of the most collectible Volkswagen of its time. Dont miss out! Deposit due in 24 hours unless other arragments are made prior to purchasing. High bidder must cantact me with in 12 hrs of purchase via email.
