For auction is this REAL 1970 Plymouth Duster 340 4 speed manual car. This was the best A body you could get in 1970. It would smoke a lot of big block cars due to the torque of th 340 and power to weight ratio. This car is also very special in that it is factory FJ6(Green go). This color and panther pink are tied for the rarest production color in 1970.. Only 0.7% of 340 dusters were painted this color!! The car has a CLEAR title, VIN is on dash, door sticker, and original fender tag is present and completely readable. I included pics. The car had some cool stripe options! The engine is a rebuilt 340(I was told it was numbers matching, but i have not checked the numbers on the motor or transmission). This 340 runs faster than most 440's i've had. It has never been to the track, but i would guarantee it will run in the 12's. It is wicked fast. The A833 manual transmission works flawlessly, and it has 8 3/4 rear end with 3.91 sure grip. This is about as good of a driveline combination as you will find besides a HEMI. The car has manual brakes and steering, just a go fast car! The car was somewhat restored 5 years ago, and is a good daily driver, but by no means a show car. The brakes are new, exhaust and headers are newer. This car absolutely screams down the road! The body is in very good shape overall, no rust that i've seen. The paint is amateur at best, and looks lie a show car from 20 feet away, but in my opinion needs to be cut and buffed at least. The interior is average, seats have covers but are still comfortable Carpet is newer. Needs headliner and speedo is not hooked up, but it does have the rallye dash with rare tach. There is a couple small pinholes on the passenger floor, does not need a pan. The trunk floor has some rust in the spare tire area. Frame rails are solid front to back. Engine bay is nice as well. You will NOT find a cooler, rare desirable screamer A body for what i am asking. It can be used as a track car, daily driver/street/strip, or restore back to show, as it's a rare car with fender tag. The car was built in April, which is dead on. So i'm 95% sure this is a numbers matching car.
