This AMAZING 1968 Lincoln Cotinental is presented in a gorgeous black. It is the star of the upcoming movie "UNLIMITED" to be released in 2013 and starring Fred Thompson, presidential candidate in 2008 and star of many A list movies such as DIE HARD II, IN THE LINE OF FIRE, CAPE FEAR, SECRETARIAT, CURLY SUE and way too many to name as well as tons shows such as all the franchises of Law and Order, Sex and the City, Roseanne and many, many more. It is the much sought after suicide doors model, the body is straight, the paint a beautiful black color in good shape and the chrome is also great with no pitting or rusting, the engine is very strong and clean. The interior does need some work, the dash is cracked and the driver's seat has a small tear so it will need new upholstery, now the good part, I had a stereo installed in the glove box to not cut up the dash and all four windows go up and down, the air blows colder than my new truck, . I had adjustable air shocks installed in the rear, it has a brand new battery, and I installed a custom cooling system with dual electric fans that do a fantastic job cooling the huge engine. I just had the engine tuned up. I had the amazing 22" knock off wire wheels with kuhmo tires, these are not the cheap imitations, these are authentic knock off wire wheels, the set cost close to $5,000.00 alone. I literally never use this gorgeous machine, and unfortunately I have an emergency and have to let it go which is why I'm selling it NO RESERVE!!!!! NO RESERVE!!!! SO BID OFTEN AND DONT LET THIS AMAZING MACHINE PASS YOU BY A brief history on the Continental: Lincoln advised for 1968 that only Continental owners knew the complete assurance that comes with owning a Lincoln Continental. How it felt to take the wheel, turn the key, and leave the ordinary world behind. Of course, the pride of driving a car engineered and designed to be the best America has to offer was an obvious reward. The fact that the Continental look was tasteful, understated, and a classic among American cars. A look that was carefully modified year after year to keep it fresh, but not changed so much that it wasn't instantly recognizable as a Lincoln. One of the more prominent styling touches of the 1961-1965 Lincoln was the taillights mounted on the ends of the rear fenders. The 1968 models beautifully updated this design and gave it a fresh new interpretation, and met the new lighting standards as well.
