1970 AMC Rebel MACHINE This is AMCs Pinnacle muscle car that was special order and came with all the "go-fast" goodies from the factory with its 340hp 390ci engine. These cars were and are becoming more desirable and were some of the most limited produced Muscle cars out there with speculation being between 1800 and 2,000. It was the highest horsepower motor and fastest car that AMC ever offered stock with a 390ci motor and 4 speed trans hooked to a 3.90 posi rear. All AMC Machines came with special paint and decals but only a limited number and less than half were Red-White-Blue! This car retains its factory four speed and the factory rear 3.90 posi. No Motor is included in sale. Car is a Red-White-Blue with power steering, four-piston factory front power disc brakes, am/fm radio, ram air hood with tachometer, and holographic decals. This car also retains its rare15x8 inch factory Kelsey-Hayes wheels, otherwise only available by special order. Many Original parts and a CLEAR Title! Has original drivers door with vin and A25 paint code tags. --To Consider: ***This IS a Project Car*** Car is very rare and has many rare pieces and positive aspects. Retaining many original parts but it does need some love and attention. Car was originally from Pennsylvania and as a northern car has some remnants of salt damage. The Trunk needs a pan and the rear frame rails are damaged. The floor pans and also are in poor shape and need to be replaced. The Rockers are in decent repairable shape but not perfect and the cars quarters are rusted in places. The rear window also has rust around the perimeter and will need repair. Roof is good as are window posts- car never seems to have been hit. Good Bumper cores. The car is in nice shape from the cowl forward but needs attention and repair from aft of the cowl due to the salt exposure. ALL Glass is Good and the Trim is all there. **** There is also a 1969 AMX 390ci 320hp hi-compression engine all original from carb to oil pan and is available for an Additional $2,000 USD.
