Vehicle Detail

MAJOR HEAD TURNER HERE! Stunning example of an increasingly rare and sought after classic, the International Scout 80. This has just undergone a very nice restoration with the body having been fully stripped down to bare metal. NEW BASE COAT CLEAR COAT URETHANE PAINT. This is a PPG 2 stage paint system that has been fully color sanded and buffed for an ultra smooth gloss. The paint has nice depth and clear definition of image. The floors were coated with spray on bedliner and the dash was repainted in white enamel. Very clean body which had only a small amount of corrosion on the left rocker panel. The body is straight, and this beautiful paint job should last for years to come. It is the numbers matching paint, Harvester Red, correct for this vehicle for 1965. STEEL HARDTOP INCLUDED FOR ANYONE WANTING IT. If you don't want the top, let me know. If you do want the top, tell me and I will have fresh white paint put on it from the same shop that did the quality job on the vehicle. Roll bar is available for anyone wanting it. NEW INTERIOR New upholstery with classic red plaid inserts. Front seats have been rebuilt with new foam and new upholstery. Rear jump seat has been reupholstered in matching fabrics. Front seats are comfortable and are 4 way adjustable. HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC WINCH AND CABLE. This winch is in working condition and is ready to pull your favorite neighbors car out of the snow when needed. SOLID STEEL FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS WITH DIAMOND PLATE Rear bumper has backup lights custom built into the structure, with switch on dash for activation. TIRES ARE TSL SX 29x10.50x15 WITH EXCELLENT TREAD DEPTH. ALLOY WHEELS, 15" FOLD DOWN WINDSHIELD WITH HOOD LATCH CHROME TRIM, ORIGINAL SCOUT FENDER EMBLEMS AND ALL WHEEL DRIVE LOGOS. ORIGINAL GRILL AND GOLD EMBLEM ADD A NOSTALGIC LOOK I HAVE THE LINE SETTING TICKET FOR THIS SCOUT. FACTORY POWER LOK DIFFERENTIAL SPARE TIRE RACK WITH SPARE INCLUDED (ORIGINAL RIM) VERY CLEAN VEHICLE THAT RUNS WELL (no engine exhaust smoke), DRIVES, TURNS, STOPS, 4X4 WORKS, LOW RANGE WORKS (PULLS STRONG). ONCE YOU BID, YOU WAIVE RIGHT TO INSPECT AFTER THE AUCTION. SOLD TOTALLY AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY IMPLIED, ORAL WRITTEN, OR OTHERWISE. THIS IS A USED VEHICLE. I'm just going to mention this to be up front, for anyone who may have an issue with it: title is Oregon State. This was used on a ranch for an extended period of years in the state of California. The previous owner told me that since it was out of the system in CA that it triggered Oregon to place a mark in the 'brands' area when it was registered in OR. He said he researched it and could not find any history of it having been a salvage titled vehicle and the title he was given at the time he purchased it from CA was clear according to him. The title does NOT say salvage, but it does say "California" in the brands section on the title. During the restoration, there was no evidence that this vehicle has even been in any kind of accident. The frame appears very solid, and the truck does not appear to have been wrecked. I could not find a spot in the listing here to select "other" under title, so I've put it here.
