Damaged 1997 Porsche Boxster with 49131 miles. I slid off the road in this car on a cold day last spring outside Omaha, Neb., where I live. The vehicle traveled through perhaps 40 feet of mud before hitting a stand of cottonwood saplings. The car did not hit a large tree, but the body was significantly damaged by the saplings. I have removed the front and rear fiberglass body kit pieces because they were not repairable. I drove the car from the accident spot back to my home three miles away. The engine is fine, the frame is fine, the interior is still in excellent condition with all interior parts working. But, the outside has the following damage:Front and back body kit pieces are gone.Plastic back window needs replaced.Deep crease in right door.Crumpled spot behind left door.Right rear-view mirror broken.Small dent by lost gas cover.Radiator seems to have a hole in it.O2 sensor/sensors were having problems before the wreck. Would need to be checked/replaced.The car runs roughly.Now the good parts:Ecstat ASX 17-inch tires.Again, all motorized parts work. No glass damaged. Much of the body was not damaged.I figure the low-mile Porsche engine itself is worth the starting price of the vehicle.Cost of shipping will depend completely on destination from Omaha, Neb.
