NO RESERVE -- Bid to Win -- NO second chance offers - I do have this CJ for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end this auction if a local buyer is found. Up for sale is my personal project -- a 1963 Willys Jeep CJ5 -- I do have a title for it, as well as a brand new carb. for the F-Head motor I purchased this about 6 months ago to start a restoration to a street-able condition. My wife has been on my case about spending too much time working on it, so it needs to be sold. When I purchased this CJ5 there was a minimal amount of exterior rust. It has all been knocked out and the exterior has been reworked and looks (in my opinion) great. It is straight and the paint is applied evenly and looks close to the MJ5 series style. The mileage shows as 63k miles, it could be 163k, but I am not sure. This is not a show room CJ, my intention was to make it a daily driver to and from work and around town. So the work completed so far is not show truck quality, but it does look really nice for a driver. The engine is is pieces, all of which are included with the sale. most of which are shown in the photos. I will be including a rear seat that I purchased to restore and install. There is also a windscreen and frame included that does have existing rust but could be restored to a usable condition. - or may just need to be replaced. The engine bay is still the original red color, but can either be painted the green or flat black prior to pickup. I have already paid to have the engine bay painted, but will leave it to the buyer to decide the color. If you are looking for a ready to go CJ5..this is not it. It does still need either a new motor or the current motor needs work. I planned or replacing it with a buick 6 cylinder for a bit more power. I was told the transmission and transfer case were in good working order, but no warranty. I am selling my CJ5 "as-is". What you see in the photos is what you get. The body and frame will make a great roller to throw a motor into and get on the road.
